Two women dead following crash in Knox County
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) ---Knox County Officers say two women have died in a head-on crash in Northeast Knox County.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) ---Knox County Officers say two women have died in a head-on crash in Northeast Knox County.
Investigators say it happened just before 10 o'clock Friday night on Mine
Road in Mascot.
Deputies say one of the drivers, 63-year-old Stanley Jarnigan and his 51-year-old wife, Linda were traveling in a mini-van. It crossed over double lines, hitting a pickup.
Deputies say Lifestar flew Linda Jarnigan and the woman in the truck to UT Medical Center. Both women died.
Officers say the pickup truck driver is in intensive care after he and Stanley Jarnigan were taken to the hospital.
Police have not released the names of the couple in the truck. Volunteer TV News will have the latest developments on this crash.
