KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- Here's an update of damage and cleanup efforts from Wednesday's storm in East Tennessee:

KUB reports 6370 customers out of power at 11:00 am including:

Knox County: Sterchi Elementary and Ridgedale Schools are closed due to power outages according to Knox County Schools. Knox County Service Department employees estimate they've cut between 150-200 trees since the storm came through. All main roads are open, some side roads could be blocked, but mostly it's due to power poles down.

Whitley County, Ky: State of Emergency. All schools have canceled classes. EMA Director Danny Moses says the National Weather Service is due in town at 11 am to confirm whether a tornado touched down. There are unconfirmed reports of one or two touchdowns. There are trees of houses, trees across roadways, and crews have been clearing trees since last night. An assessment team will head throughout the county this morning to get a better look at the damage. there is a nursing home in Williamsburg that may not have power for two days so EMA is considering moving patients to a shelter. The roof of the psychology building at the University of the Cumberlands was partially torn off and landed on some cars last night. WVLT will have a crew in Whitley County today.

Fentress County: NWS will come to town around 11 am to confirm whether damage there was caused by straight line winds or a tornado. there is an unconfirmed report of a funnel cloud in Clarkrange. Roads are cleared, county never lost power. Fire crews had to cut a tree off a man's car yesterday to rescue him. He was taken to Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville for treatment of non-life threathening injuries, according to EMA Chief Jeff Galloway.

Blount County: Crews working to clear back roads. All main routes are clear. Fire crews report 42 trees down.

Sevier County: Fire officials call themselves "fortunate", saying they only had about 12 reports of trees down. Gary Hardin Alternative Learning Center is closed due to a power outage in the area.

Anderson County: Crews clearing trees that are blocking part of the roadway at Norris Freeway and Andersonville Pike. Trees damaged a few homes yesterday in Oak Ridge. One on Wainwright Road, and one on Outer Drive.

Scott County: Wayne Shoemaker, EMA Chief, reports powers been restored to everyone in the county, and there are no new reports of power poles down. Crews cleared trees last night, but all roads are open today.

Morgan County: Jody Zorsch, EMA Director, reports all roads are clear, trees cleared, and the power's been restored everywhere. The Deer Lodge Community Center is still closed. the roof blew off of it yesterday. Cleanup will continue there today.

Roane County: Howie Rose, EMA Director, reports trees have been cleared from all roads in the county. There are still some patchy power outages, but utility crews are working to get all the power back on.

Cumberland County: Keith Garrison, EMA Director, reports trees cleared from roads, may be a few isolated homes without power. Fire crews in Crossville battled a house fire at 153 Hospitality Drive this am. It was a vacant building. The fire is under control as of 9 am. No injuries reported, no word on a cause.
