KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- There are about 1,000 KUB customers still without power after Wednesday's storms passed through East Tennessee, and some of them will remain without power until Saturday, according to KUB spokesperson Grace Whiteside.
Whiteside tells Volunteer TV News that KUB trucks can't access some of the areas still experiencing outages, so crews must carry equipment into those areas and climb poles to restore power. That's a process that she says could last until sometime Saturday.
