Campbell Co. teacher suspended amid investigation
A Jacksboro Middle School teacher is suspended with pay pending a police investigation.

JACKSBORO, Tennn. (WVLT) -- A Jacksboro Middle School teacher is suspended with pay pending a police investigation.
Campbell County Director of Schools Dr. Michael Martin confirms Dean Branam was suspended Thursday pending the outcome of a Jacksboro Police Department and Department of Children's Services investigation.
Dr. Martin would not confirm the nature of the investigation, and calls to the Jacksboro Police Chief have not been returned.
Dr. Martin says Branam has been a teacher in the district for about 30 years.
