Suspect steals cargo laden tractor trailer from Hamblen County facility
Hamblen County authorities and a trucking company are trying to figure out who stole a 53 foot long trailer from the Big G Express facility on I-81 in Russellville.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – Hamblen County authorities and a trucking company are trying to figure out who stole a 53 foot long trailer from the Big G Express facility on I-81 in Russellville.
Security footage captured the suspect walking across the facilities large parking lot on Fish Hatchery Road. According to Big G Express, he started the tractor trailer and drove away from the complex. Before daybreak, cameras against caught him returning to the property to retrieve his personal vehicle.
The trailer was fully loaded with cargo at the time of the theft. Hamblen County deputies are investigating the case and the FBI, Cargo Task Force, and US Attorney’s Counter Terrorism office.
The trailer is white with the Big G Express logo on the side. Its number is 7057, which is displayed on the back of the trailer.
Big G Express is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the return of the trailer, cargo and conviction of the thieves. They’re offering a $1,000 reward for the return of just the trailer.
