Sheriff identifies 3 suspects charged in Knox Co. home invasion murder
Deputies have charged three people in connection with the home invasion murder of a Corryton man inside his home on Saturday, May 2, Bill Graves' widow, Vickie Graves confirmed to Volunteer TV News ahead of a Knox County Sheriff's Office news conference.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Deputies have charged three people in connection with the home invasion murder of a Corryton man inside his home on Saturday, May 2, Bill Graves' widow, Vickie Graves confirmed to Volunteer TV News ahead of a Knox County Sheriff's Office news conference.
"This is a relief that they caught them, but by far it's not going to bring him back. It's not going to bring my husband back," Vickie Graves says.
Bill Graves, Sr., 52, and his wife were inside their Washington Pike home when two men forced their way into the house and held the couple at gunpoint, deputies say.
Knox County Sheriff's Deputies have charged Gary Scott Holman, 27, 7001 Pleasant Ridge Road in Knoxville, and Josh Lee Bowman, 27, McGill Street in Madisonville, with first degree murder. Each is being held on a $1 million dollar bond.
Chad E. Medford, 26, 170 Ridge View in Blaine, is charged with facilitation of first degree murder. He's being held on a $500,000 bond.
Vickie Graves says Medford is her deceased nephew's brother-in-law, and he is one of five people she believes had knowledge of a safe that was stolen from their home.
According to the warrant, Medford admitted his involvement in the home invasion robbery.

Bill Graves tried for fight them off, and exchanged gunfire with one of the suspects when he was shot in the leg, deputies say.
"For 11 days I've been walking around looking at everybody. Was it you? Was it you? I have not been out in public," Vickie Graves say. "You know at the funeral home, people would come around. Is it you?"
Vickie Graves, told Volunteer TV News Wednesday that detectives and search dogs started searching some nearby woods around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, and they searched again on Wednesday.
The safe stolen from Graves' home was later found a short distance away opened and empty.

It is how their parents raised them. They are a bunch of thugs and need to be locked up. Parents need to start raising their kids right.
