Tennessee counties declared "major disasters" after April storm
On Saturday, President Obama declared Tennessee has areas of major disaster after the round of storms, tornadoes and flooding that hit the state April 10, 2009.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- On Saturday, President Obama declared Tennessee has areas of major disaster after the round of storms, tornadoes and flooding that hit the state April 10, 2009.
Federal funding has been made available to facilities damaged by the severe storms in Benton County, McMinn County, Rutherford County and Sequatchie County.
Additional areas may be added to the list if requested by the state.
