SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Sevier County Sheriff's office arrested a man and confiscated more than 30 pounds of marijuana during a drug bust Thursday, according to a Sevier County Sheriff's Department release.
According to the release, officers found the dope at the home of Rolando Bazan Lopez Jr., 48, of 1208 Allensville Rd. in Sevierville, when they executed a search warrant.
Investigators say the seized pot is "high grade Mexican marijuana" that they believe was shipped from Texas and was to be sold in Sevier County.
Lopez was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana for resale. He's being held on a $150,000 bond at the Sevier County Jail. He has a court appearance set for July 29.
