SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – Police have released the arrested report on the The quick thinking pizza delivery man credited with foiling an alleged abduction and rape.

Sevierville Police arrested Christopher Adrian Turner, 32 on June 10th on charges of domestic violence assault and failure to appear.

According to the arrest report, someone called 911 just after 1:45 AM that morning about a domestic disturbance on Marshall Road in Sevierville. When Sevierville Police arrived, the victim told officers Turner had pushed her, tried to pull her out of their vehicle and put his hands around her neck.

The report explains she had red marks on her neck and that Turner’s shirt was disheveled and had torn buttons. Drugs and alcohol were not involved.

Following the arrest on misdemeanor domestic assault, he was also charged with failure to appear.

According to the intake reports from the Sevier County Jail, as reported in the April 27th, 2009 edition of the Mountain Press, Turner was charged with a misdemeanor warrant from general session’s court on April 25th. Officials haven’t said what the original charge was.

Turner's name entered the national headlines in late May when he delivered a pizza to a remote Sevier County cabin and noticed a woman tied up and mouthing for him to get help.

He notified police who interviewed the woman and learned she had allegedly been abducted while jogging in Atlanta, driven to the Smokies and raped. The suspect, David Jansen was taken into custody on rape and abduction charges. He posted bail within one day of his arrest.

Turner remained in the Sevier County Jail on Saturday, unable to post his $2,500 bond.

Amazing how Sevier Co can't find a criminal with outstanding warrants when he is on TV. They have become the laughing stock of the South since Seals has been placed in charge. Arresting the wrong people and being sued, deputies being arrested for wrong doings, and the latest seems to be Seals himself being investigated. Larry Waters and his cronnies have been in charge for a long time, and looks as if he has been using county funds for personal use, and now our county tax has increased to "pay for schools" seems if they get rid of the corruption we could save a lot of money, and even spend some on the rest of the county not just the triangle of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville.
