Teen girl struck by lightning in Union County
A 14-year-old Union County girl was struck by lightning Thursday afternoon as storms moved through East Tennessee.

LUTTRELL, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A 14-year-old Union County girl was struck by lightning Thursday afternoon as storms moved through East Tennessee.
Authorities say the girl had a hand on her doorknob when the lightning bolt hit her hand.
She was not seriously injured, but she was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
