Knoxville man charged with attempted child exploitation in Georgia
A Knoxville man has been arrested Whitfield County, Georgia and charged with criminal attempted child exploitation.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A Knoxville man has been arrested Whitfield County, Georgia and charged with criminal attempted child exploitation.
According to the FBI, Anthony Brown, 26 of Knoxville made the trip down to Whitfield County on Friday after having engaged in Internet “chats” and e-mails with undercover officers working for the Northwest Georgia Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Investigators say he made the trip intending to have sexual activity with an underage female.
He is currently being kept in the Whitfield County Detention Facility.
