ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Clinton police say an elderly man who went missing Friday morning was found Friday night in Kentucky.
William "Bill" C. Shorter, 86 was seen around 8:30 AM at the Hardee's on Highway 122 at I-75. At the time he was wearing blue jeans, a blue button down shirt and driving a white 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser with handicap Tennessee tags "DD00901."
Family members say Shorter is diabetic and didn't have his medication. When he doesn't take it, he becomes disoriented.
According to police, he disappeared about six months ago and was finally found nearly 100 miles away in Kingsport.
