Knoxville (WVLT) – We have new information on a body that was found Tuesday on Chipman Street in East Knoxville.
It has been identified as that of 21-year-old Channon Christian.

Christian's body was found around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.
The home is located only blocks away from the area where the body of her boyfriend, 23-year-old Chris Newsom, was found on Sunday.
Police found Christian's car in that area as well.

They now say they're focusing on the next step in the investigation.

"At this point, we will start trying to find the perpetrators and both agencies. We've already started that. We're going to start going through records and see what we find out and start putting teams out, and if we get individuals identified, then we'll start trying to pick them up as well," Knox County Sheriff Tim Hutchison said.

Police say the home on Chipman Street is a rental home and from the looks inside the home it appears someone left in a hurry.
