23 year-old Christopher Newsom was laid to rest saturday morning.

Knoxville (WVLT) - Six days after his body was discovered along railroad tracks at Ninth Avenue and Cherry Street, 23 year-old Christopher Newsom has been laid to rest.
He was buried this morning at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens, one week after he and his girlfriend Channon Christian were car-jacked in East Knoxville.
His funeral was Friday evening at the Beaver Dam Baptist Church in Halls.
