Funeral arrangements complete for high school football player
Funeral arrangements for the East Tennessee high school football player who collapsed during a game Friday night and later passed away have been confirmed.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Funeral arrangements for the East Tennessee high school football player who collapsed during a game Friday night and later passed away have been confirmed.
A celebration of Jake Logue’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26 at Sullivan South High School. Eulogies will be given by members of the Sullivan South football coaching staff and music will be provided by the Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church where Logue was a member.
Graveside services will take place on Thursday, August 27th at East Lawn Memorial Park in Kingsport. Members of the Sullivan South football team will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Logue was an all-conference linebacker for Sullivan South.
He died late Friday night after collapsing on the field at West High School in Knoxville. Game footage showed him fall to the ground untouched while chasing down a play during a fourth and goal situation in the third quarter. Knoxville Fire Department officials confirmed he was in cardiac arrest when paramedics transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

This is a really sad story and its hard to loose a loved one but being there and watchin your own child fall to his on death had to be the nightmare they will never get over. RIP in Jake.
