Search underway for missing Morgan County man
The Morgan County Sheriff's Department is asking for help finding a Petros man missing since Monday, Aug. 31.

PETROS, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Morgan County Sheriff's Department is asking for help finding a Petros man missing since Monday, Aug. 31.
Deputies say larry Everett Burchfield, 60, left his Petros home around 5 p.m. Monday. He was possibly headed to Nashville. He hasn't been heard from since.
He was driving a silver 2003 Ford Taurus with Tennessee tag number V6015. The car has two eagle decals and a Vietnam logo in the back window. There may also be a handicap placard hanging in the window.
Burchfield, who is a Vietnam veteran suffering from Parkinson's Disease, diabetes and short-term memory loss, was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, blue jean shorts, brown tennis shoes with yellow paint on them, and a camo hat with Vietnam pins on hit, deputies say.
He wears gold-rimmed bifocal glasses and a silver Timex watch.
Deputies say he probably hasn't had his medications since 8 a.m. Monday.
