Man cut during East Knoxville apartment fight

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Police are investigating an East Knoxville stabbing.
It happened at 9:57 p.m. at an apartment in the 2200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Witnesses told Knoxville Police Department officers that the victim and an unknown suspect were drinking together when the two went into the kitchen and started arguing. During the argument, the victim was cut with a knife.
The victim was only described as a 40 year old man. Officers said he was uncooperative and refused to provide any information about the stabbing.
He was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No description of the suspect was provided.
