$1 million bond set for Knoxville man on child pornography charges

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – A Knoxville man has been arrested on child pornography charges.
Donald Royster, 42 of Joseph Gates Lane was taken into custody Monday night after an investigation by detectives in the Family Justice Center of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they executed a search warrant at Royster’s home and discovered thousands of images of child pornography on his computer.
He was booked into the Knox County Detention Facility and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor. His bond was set at $1 million.
According to deputies, Royster has a prior criminal history involving assault.
