'Black Friday' frustration felt by some shoppers
Many of you who were looking for that perfect gift waited hours, and in some cases, days, to make sure sold-out signs didn't greet you at area stores. But some highly sought-after items simply weren't there, especially if you were looking for toys and electronics that are the talk of this holiday shopping season. And topping the must have list for Santa...Hamsters that are the undisputed kings of "Black Friday."

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- If you've been looking for one of these...Good luck. A Zhu Zhu pet. This electronic hamster is hotter than hot this holiday season, and nowhere to be seen on Toys R Us shelves.
"Well I think with that type of toy, it's kind of expected they're hard to find," said Toys R Us Manager Darren Higgins.
"i got here last night around 11 to find that the line was all the way around the building, so needless to say i didn't get one," said shopper Meghan Donovan.
Thousands waited in line for 100 of the furry phenoms. And those who didn't get a robotic rodent were back this afternoon. The final 50 being sold, first come, first served.
"Came back today, so I've been sitting here since about 10am waiting for the Zhu Zhu pet," said Donovan.
"How bad do you want one? Really bad. Really really bad and my mom and my grandma and paw paw is over here because all of my family members want one," 11-year old Ashley Grumbach, said.
At Best Buy, popular and discounted items didn't last long either. Laptops for $197 were gone early this morning. This shopper was hoping for a high end washer-dryer.
"I lost out. They were sold out this morning. They looked in the computer. They had 9,750 and they were sold out. This is Black Friday for me. I didn't get my washer dryer set," said shopper Phyllis Humphrey.
So now, Phyllis will have to wash her tears away,
"Go home and cry."
And offer some advice for "Black Friday - 2010."
"You snooze, you lose."
