Fentress Road Superintendent accused of theft
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested the Fentress County road superintendent on charges he made money from the sale of scrap metal belonging to the county.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested the Fentress County road superintendent on charges he made money from the sale of scrap metal belonging to the county.
Fred R. "Butch" Blevins, 56 of Jamestown was indicted on four counts of theft over $1,000, two counts of theft over $500 and one count of official misconduct.
The TBI said in a news release Thursday that the offenses occurred between December 2007 and May 2008.
Blevins was booked into the Fentress County Jail on $10,000 bond.
