No power in Campbell County after weekend storm
It's a winter wonderland on this first day of winter in some parts of Campbell County.
Two days after a storm brought as much as 10 inches of snow to some cities up on Jellico Mountain in Campbell County.
The biggest problem isn't the roads it's the power outages.
Some customers are still without electricity today.

PIONEER, Tenn. (WVLT) - It's a winter wonderland on this first day of winter in some parts of Campbell County.
Two days after a storm brought as much as 10 inches of snow to some cities up on Jellico Mountain in Campbell County.
The biggest problem isn't the roads it's the power outages.
Some customers are still without electricity today.
Linda Hagen says, "We live in Pioneer and we are pioneers right now."
Truer words have never been spoken by Linda Hagen.
Her family's been living without electricity since Friday.
Dave Hagen says, "Your whole perception of life changes when the electricity goes out."
Linda's husband Dave and son Griff aren't doing this to make a snowman, but rather to bathe.
Hagen says, "We melted enough snow to make enough so each of us could have a one gallon shower, and that was comforting."
They at least still have a few comforts.
For example, even though it's pitch black after the sun goes down.
Hagen says, "It was ten o'clock and I put my hand in front of my face, and I could not see it."
They at least have a gas range, and the wood burning stove.
Griff's stuck without his video games.
No computer either.
Griff says, "I love electricity a lot."
Down the road, neighbor James Moorehead's also in the dark.
James Moorehead says,"They said it was another 72 hours. That unbelievable."
That means for at least a few more days his picnic table will double as an ice box.
His question is a legitimate one.
Moorehead says, "I just don't understand why they don't call KUB or Anderson County to help out I haven't seen one truck from the electric company on these roads."
Back at the Hagen house, they're probably playing board games again tonight. Hoping and praying the lights come on, although there is a fringe benefit.
Hagen says, "It's really brought us closer as a family, but we're still ready for electricity."

A few years back in Springfield MO some areas were with out power for almost a month, but luckaly these people with families near by with power helped them out such as bathing, washing and drying closes, staying warm, and storing food.
I sure hope the Hagen family and their neighbors get the power back TODAY! Ridiculous this area is ignored. We're in D.C. area where blizzard occurred, and are fine with all ammenities. Roads open. Power. Water. Gas. EVERYTHING TAKEN CARE OF FOR THE WELL BEING OF THE PEOPLE HERE! Super sad to this young boy without at Christmas time. I will pray for these folks, and hope he has a real bath available in the next few hours. God Bless us EVERY ONE!"Tiny Tim". Merry Christmas to all reading this blog. Toni in Washington D.C. area
Yes, we've been without power for more than three days now. It's hard to believe in today's technology that we can't get help from other counties. You wouldn't see this happening in Knox or Anderson County. Winter wonderland is okay for a day or two, but it gets pretty old after three days. Thanks to our neighbors for reporting it to the news. Hopefully, we'll have power back on tomorrow and can get back to normal.
