KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- With less than a week to go until romance fills the air, I found out what some guys have in store for their loved ones...

Thomas Sexton says, "Currently nothing."

Mike Pitt adds, "I'm always a procrastinator, and I always wait until the last minute and the gift I get her is always bad."

So, I asked, what about flowers?

Sextons replied, "Flowers, yea that's a good idea."

Gina McMurray is the co-owner of The Flower Pot, on Broadway. She says flowers are, "elegant and beautiful and make a room smell nice and always puts a smile on somebody's face, especially for your sweetheart."

At The Flower Pot on Broadway, they have 6,000 roses ready to go for Valentine's Day.

McMurray says, "Pink roses and red roses and our cash and carry are popular for people coming in last minute grabbing something and taking it home."

$65.00 for an arrangement of a dozen roses and $110 for two dozen…

If you're not ready to stop and smell the roses because they're too expensive, that's okay because there are plenty of budget friendly ways to put a smile on your sweethearts face."

McMurray says, "If you're on a tight budget we can do one for 30 to 35 dollars, and then they go as high as you want it really. I would probably suggest they call us let us know what their budget is and we can pull something together that's nice and beautiful that their sweetheart will appreciate."

When I asked Pitts what he would do if they sold a dozen roses for $10, he responded, "I would probably walk over there right now and buy two dozen roses, because that's sweet, incredible."

Well they're not, but there are plenty of costly ways to go- so men, what are waiting for!?

The Flower Pot says their cash and carry roses are a popular and cheaper way to go- $24.99. They're not arranged in a vase, but they're quick and convenient. Chocolate and stuffed animals are also a sure way to express your feelings for someone.
