Middlesboro man killed in Bell Co. crash
A Middlesboro man has died after a crashing his car into another vehicle Monday afternoon.

BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WVLT) – A Middlesboro man has died after a crashing his car into another vehicle Monday afternoon.
The Middlesboro Police Department said it happened around 4:32 PM when Billy Roark, 72 was driving south on 22nd Street in his 1993 Nissan Altima. For some reason, Roark apparently pulled out in front of oncoming traffic at the road’s intersection with Winchester Avenue and was struck by another vehicle.
Paramedics transferred him to Middlesboro ARH and he was later airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment. According to the MPD report, he passed at UT medical at 8:18 PM Monday.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was not injured.
