Rifle wielding woman sought in Blount donut shop robbery
A woman held up a Blount County donut shop Monday afternoon at gunpoint, and investigators are looking for the suspect, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A woman held up a Blount County donut shop Monday afternoon at gunpoint, and investigators are looking for the suspect, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say a woman walked into the Richy Kreme Donuts on East Broadway in Maryville around 1 p.m. Monday, armed with a rifle, and demanded money from the cashier and customers.
She got away in a late model Chevrolet Cobalt.
The suspect is described as a white woman about 5'11" or 6' tall. At the time of the robbery, she was wearing a long brown hooded jacket and brown pants. She was also wearing a bandana over her face and the hood of the jacket over here head, police say.
