Knoxville Police officials said officers were dispatched to Mercy Medical Center around 9:30 p.m. where two men had recently walked into the emergency room with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds.
Officers questioned the victims and learned that a possible suspect was at a trailer near Marion Street. They located the possible suspect within minutes and took him into custody for questioning.
Both victims were airlifted from Mercy Medical Center to Johnson City Medical Center to undergo more treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed, though reports from the scene indicate officers found a lot of blood when they took the possible suspect into custody.
