OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- A Secret City train gave passengers a jolt after it jumped the track and spilled onto the street Saturday afternoon.

The Roane County Sheriff's Department has blocked Blair Road at Perimeter Road and it will remain blocked until a railroad salvage crew with a crane can upright the locomotive.

No one was in the locomotive and caboose that jumped the rails.

"Fortunately, no one was injured after the incident happened the train stopped right away and passengers were removed and put on tour buses and returned back to the starting point, which is at the Old Oak Ridge diffusion plant."

The track connects to a mainline on Harriman Highway. It may be tomorrow before the train is cleared from the road.

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- No one was hurt, but it might take a day to clean up an Oak Ridge train derailment.

It happened on Blair Road near the Roane County line, just 2-300 feet within the city limits of Oak Ridge.

A locomotive is on its side and the caboose is almost turned over.

Blair Road is closed because if the train topples, it will fall onto the roadway.

It's the Secret City Train and was giving Secret City participants rides down to K-25.

No one was in the locomotive and caboose that jumped the rails.

Another locomotive will be brought in with a crane, but it may be Sunday before it is up-righted.

There was a locomotive on both the front and back of the train, and the unoccupied locomotive which derailed was at the back of the train.
