COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- Three Colorado Springs men are in custody after a former serviceman was shot and killed.
Timothy Roath, 23, died Thursday when he was shot in the head at an apartment complex.
Police arrested Kirby Braithwaite, 26, and Anthony Swindle, 29, on suspicion of murder Saturday.
A third man, Quenton Heard, 20, is being held on suspicion of being an accessory to the murder.
Family and friends told The (Colorado Springs) Gazette that Roath was a former Army soldier from Lake City, Tenn., who served two tours in Iraq. Fort Carson officials said they couldn't immediately confirm Roath's service.
