KNOXVILLE, Tenn.(WVLT)--A different version of the term flash mob is about to hit Knoxville.
With the closing of the Henley Street Bridge, the Knox County Mayor's office wants you to head to South Knoxville with a wad of money.
Knox County Mayor,Tim Burchett said he heard the Alan Jackson song, "The Little Man." It inspired him to try to help some local businesses.
"This is actually a cash mob, where people show up at a locally owned business, spend five to 10 dollars and will it save a small business from going under? Maybe not, I think it alerts the public of the need."
