ANTIOCH, Tenn. (AP) -- Bones that children found while playing in a wooded area behind some apartments have turned out to be human remains.
The Medical Examiner in Antioch told WZTV that he believes the remains had been behind the Hickory Creek Apartments since summer.
Officials say children playing in the area on Saturday found the remains and took them to their parents, who notified police.
An investigation is continuing.
