STRAWBERRY PLAINS, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Jefferson Co. Sheriff's Dept. is still investigating a crash in Strawberry Plains Tuesday night that sent two people to the hospital, one of whom was taken via LifeStar.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Old Dandridge Pike shortly before 10:30 p.m. There, they found two people still inside of a white Ford Mustang.
One person was able to get out on their own and was taken to UT Medical Center by ambulance; while workers spent nearly ten minutes trying to free the other occupant, who was then flown to the hospital.
