KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The new Virginia College of Business and Health in Knoxville is looking to hire up to 120 new employees during an open house Tuesday, Feb. 28 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, located at 17 Market Square.
At the event, attendees can learn about teaching opportunities and apply for employment to available open positions.
The school will employ faculty and staff from the Knoxville community in positions such as administrators, financial planners, office personnel, registrars, program directors, faculty, adjunct instructors and positions in the admission office, the business office, career services and student services.
The Virginia College School of Business and Health in Knoxville will hire the first group of instructors for the inaugural class which starts in April 2012.
Additional faculty and staff will be hired as the student population grows. At full capacity, the school will employ 120 faculty and staff.
Projected open positions include administrators, financial planners, office personnel, registrars, program directors, faculty, adjunct instructors and positions in the admission office, the business office, career services and student services.

The new school will offer programs in healthcare reimbursement, medical assistant associate, medical assistant diploma, medical billing and coding, medical office administration and pharmacy technician, network engineering, business administration , cosmetology and office administration.
