KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A wreck on Interstate 40 eastbound has shut down a stretch of the Interstate near the I-75 interchange, right before the Watt Road exit.
The accident occurred shortly before 11:00 a.m.
According to officials, the collision included at least tractor-trailers and four cars. They said traffic had slowed due to another crash further up the road, leading to this wreck
One of the truck drivers had was taken via ambulance to UT Medical Center.
