On Monday March 31, 2008 4 Karns Volunteer Fire Department firefighters responded to a difficulty breathing call that ended up being a cardiac arrest. The firefighters along with the ambulance crew started CPR and other life saving measures on the patient. They were able to save the patient and at last knowledge the patient was doing well and out of ICU. The volunteers never get any pay for what they do so i thought it would be nice if you could do a story on the life saving efforts of these volunteer firefighters.
Thank you in advance for reading my email.

Respectfully,

Jay Gregory

I commend the volunteer crew of the Karns Volunteer Fire Dept. for their actions in saving this persons' life and also thank GOD that we have such individuals that care enough to donate their services and training to the public. This is why everyone that can afford to, should donate money to help these individuals out in every community that may need them in case of a life threatening situation.
