The 2008 Sweetwater Arts Celebration will feature more than 40 Fine Art and Fine Craft Artists during a 2-day event this Friday and Saturday, May 30 and 31 at the Willow Creek Town Center just 2 1/2 miles east at exit 60 at I-75 in Sweetwater. Great food live entertainment and a variety of spcial programs will be held under three grand white tents with Trolley transportation provided between the art exhibit and Sweetwater's Historic Downtown Shopping District. Artists from a 250 mile radius completed a two-step jurying process to be eligible for the event. Performing artists will take the stage both at the event and in the downtown Moneta Threatre. Admission is free to the public. The event is sponsored by The Sweetwater Valley Citizens for the Arts. All proceeds go to fund arts programs in the Sweetwater Schools.
