Here is my story and I am hoping you will find it your heart to help me !! If I
can get the word out and am lucky Imay have a chance of finding my rings . I
listed the items on www.craigslist.com and also on ww.lostandfound.com. will soon try www.youtube.com. and local and state newspapers to. I Just know that the TV station will have more viewers then people getting online or just to read lost or found items.. I just hope and pray that someone will find it in their hearts to help me!
here is what happened
On Jan. 1, 2009 off I-40 at the BP service station off I-40 East.at 709 N.
Campbell Station Rd. West of Knoxville TN . I Lost a 4.50ct platinum diamond ring & a 7.62ct Amethyst(purple) diamond .70ct ring. The diamond ring had a2.50ct oval diamond for the center stone with 18 (9) round diamonds2ct. on each side of center stone total 4.50ct. The ring was a size 9.The 7.62ct Amethyst pear shape ( tear drop ) had .70 ct (17) round diamonds around it set in 14kt yellow gold size 11.. I took them off in the bathroom and left them on the back of the toilet lid. Many would think how stupid to have taken them off and left them or would think I am probably rich and have the means to replace them. I don't and I am not rich and no they were not insured! My husband worked long hours each day in 110 degree weather painting houses so that we could save 15 dollars each week in an envelope in the freezer for 10 yrs.
My husband passed away 7 yrs ago.no there was no life insurance.. I learned when a sheriff and chaplain show up at your door its not good news! No there was no life insurance money either! I found myself at 38 never had to support myself so i started cleaning houses and thank God I have survived!
I can never replace the rings nor the sentimental value or history behind both rings. If I had found someones rings I would not have to think twice at returning them!
I am not just saying that cause I have lost mine. I say that cause my heart would ache for the person that had lost them knowing she would want to die and be so devastated at losing them for the rest of her life! I would have realized that the rightful owners would have come back to claim them! They would have realized there are still good people in this world that would in the end do the right thing! I would have realized that all stations have security cameras that had seen me when I walked into the station to get the key and when I returned it. What I am hoping is the person that walked in the bathroom after me would feel as I do and will have the heart to also do the right thing and return the rings and my memories! Or maybe a pawn shop that the ring is taken to for an appraisal or where they try to
pawn the ring or maybe the woman will just brag to friends and family about her find and someone will find it in their heart to do the right thing. There is a
reward!
I know it will take a good hearted samaritan or a miracle for me to probably ever see my rings again! I am hoping that the person that found my rings or anyone that knows anything about them or someone that has seen these rings anywhere will contact me farhana214@bellsouth.net at or the Knox County Sheriff's office at (865) 215-3598
I have attached pictures of my rings.. I will only hope and pray that you have the will to help me!! Any help would be much appreciated!
Hope to hear from you...
