My husband, Robert is awaiting for a new heart. He has insurance that covers his lodging and meds,but there is no money for his wife to pay for her needed stay with him. The average stay for a heart patient recipient is around 8 weeks, given no complications, 6 of them,in a motel or hospitality house, should they have the room. Other lodging is expensive, $39-79 daily.

I am on Social Security due to lung cancer and copd, now cardiovascular disease.

I must be there to take care of him after he is released. this will take place in Nashville.

We are not alone here in Knoxvlle, I know. We might be less fortunate, with less means, but still the cost can be enormous.
