W. Knoxville BB&T Bank robbed
Knoxville Police are investigating a bank robbery at the BB&T Bank branch on Kingston Pike in Bearden.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville Police are investigating a bank robbery at the BB&T Bank branch on Kingston Pike in Bearden.
The call came in around 3:05 p.m. Friday to the bank in the 4900 block of Kingston Pike, police say.
The suspect was wearing a black mask, a blue hoodie and black gloves. He's described as a white man in his late 30s to early 40s, between 6' and 6'4" tall and weighing between 285 and 325 pounds, according to the FBI.
The suspect reported fled westbound on foot.
