KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The endangered child alert that was issued Thursday for a pair of missing Knoxville children has been canceled.

Knoxville Police Department officials confirm Nicholas William "Nickie" McGibbon was safely located at 5:05 p.m. Friday when officers pulled over his non-custodial mother’s car on Washington Pike near the ramp to I-640 W. McGibbon’s and his sister Ashley Cecilia Barahona has last been seen Tuesday, February 9th when Bonita McGibbon, their biological mother, picked them up.

Barahona had been located about an hour before hand at a residence. Police would not disclose what part of town they found her in.

Investigators said Bonnie has a violent criminal history. She was immediately taken into custody and will undergo questioning.

Police officials confirmed both children appeared to be fine, but each would undergo a checkup as a precaution.

Nicholas William "Nickie" McGibbon and his sister Ashley Cecilia Barahona were last seen on Tuesday February 9, 2010, according to a news release.

They are believed to be with their biological mother Bonita McGibbon. Bonita
has a violent criminal history.

Police say Nicholas has significant medical problems that require constant monitoring.

They are believed to be in a 1997 gold Chevrolet Cavalier with TN License Plate # 026TNB and possibly traveling to Florida.
