KNOXVILLE, Tenn.(WVLT)--An 84-year-old woman lost control of her car, hit a stump, then crashed into a home.

Police say the woman lost control of her car on Sprankle Drive. Her car ended up smashing through the rear basement wall of a home on Nichols Road.

The driver went to the hospital with minor injuries. As for the car, they're leaving it overnight after they have time to reinforce the home and remove the yellow jackets.

No one in the home got hurt.
