Knoxville (WVLT) - A massive effort by dozens of law enforcement agencies rounds up hundreds of fugitives from all over East Tennessee.

They took part in the week long Operation Falcon, federal and local cops organized nationally.

"Not great for criminals but great for us," Knox County Sheriff JJ Jones said.

Great for them to capture more than 350 fugitives. For seven straight days, US Marshals and local agencies are up before daylight and out after dark capturing fugitives in your neighborhood.

"It's a very tedious week for these guys as special agent said, they've put in a lot of time into this. Sometimes 16 or 18 hour days," Jones said.

They're charged with violent crimes, sex acts against children and drug and firearm possession in 41 East Tennessee counties. Some wanted for 10 years!

"To come in every so often to clean house is good for everybody," Knoxville Police Chief Sterling Owen said.

This June, officers captured 380 fugitives, 26 of those sex offenders and eliminated 688 warrants--of those captured, 157 were caught in Knoxville. Dale Overturf is one they captured for allegedly taking pictures of a minor and posting them on the internet.

"We arrested more sex offenders than Memphis and Nashville combined," US Marshal supervisor Warren Mays said.

But that's not all, they're asking for your help locating two more suspects. Bobby Paschel for two counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child--and Jerry Randall who's an alleged drug addict who possesses firearms. He's considered armed and dangerous. Even after Operation Falcon, local agencies continue to catch the criminals.

"Specialized effort for a week but in reality we work with the US Marshal's office every single day," Owen said.

Agencies are proud of their arrests but continue to work to get more criminals off the street.

Federal and local agents also captured 4 homicide suspects. One from Cocke County and 3 from the Chattanooga area.

Why did you run this story without putting any contact number for anyone who has information about the fugitives. How and who would somebody contact....

I have talked to Police Officers about Drug Dealers and their comment was: We don't have the time to get them.
