LOUDON, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Loudon County restaurant is re-opening its doors today (Monday) after a fire destroyed its building a little over a year ago.

The entire business was ruined from a massive fire on August 3, 2010. Just after it happened, it was questioned if they would be able to rebuild again.

The "Log Cabin Restaurant" had been in the Loudon community for more than 40 years before the fire.

Construction was complete in July.

The Log Cabin Restaurant will open at 4:00pm today (Monday) with entertainment and door prizes to celebrate.
