TELLICO PLAINS, Tenn. (WVLT)- More than 200 people could be out of a job in the coming months.

A spokesperson for the Commercial Vehicle Group tells Local 8 News it will shut down it's Tellico Plains plant by the end of the year.

237 workers could lose their jobs.

The reason the plant is closing, a changing market and customer needs.

The company is still figuring out how many of those workers it can move to the plant in Vonore.

The company makes different products for vehicles like mirrors, seats and safety devices.
