ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- A bounty hunter who helped free the mother of a missing Florida toddler now says he won't try to withdraw her bail.
It's a reversal from yesterday, when Leonard Padilla said he would ask associates to revoke the half million dollars in bail they had posted for Casey Anthony last week. That move would have likely returned her to jail.
Padilla says concerns he had over the safety of the 22-year-old Anthony and her family are being addressed following a meeting with her attorney. Padilla and Anthony's lawyer have declined to discuss the concerns.
Padilla says Anthony can remain free on bond as long as he is convinced she is safe.
Police say Anthony is a person of interest in the disappearance of her 3-year-old daughter, Caylee. She currently faces charges of child neglect, obstruction and making false statements.
