CORYDON, Ind. (AP) -- A judge has rejected Caesars Indiana's request to dismiss a Tennessee woman's lawsuit claiming the casino exploited her gambling addiction.

Harrison Circuit Judge H. Lloyd Whitis' ruling in the case brought by Jenny Kephart of Nashville could open the door to a trial examining a casino's responsibilities toward compulsive gamblers.

Whitis did not explain why he denied Caesars' motion for dismissal Friday.

Kephart counter-sued Caesars in May after the casino sued her to recover $125,000 that she had lost in a single night of gambling in 2006.

She alleges Caesars knew that she had received a $1 million inheritance and enticed her with free meals and rooms and provided money on credit for her to gamble, despite knowing she was a compulsive gambler.

I have been a compulsive Gambler for 14 years losing over 300 to 400,000 dollars. I self evicted myself off the boats. Management came up to me at the Casino and acknowledged that he was the one that evicted me and allowed me to continue to Gamble and on another occasion he told me his manager was looking and recognized me so he evicted me, The very next week whispered in my ear have fun don't worry. I told Security I was evicted and not to let me come back on, but that was ignored. With my disability and compulsive Gambling I almost became suicidal. Can this be address with proof. They alsom allowed me to win a jack pot and write checks. Could I speak to an attorney about these incidents.

I agree with Larry. Guess I need to sue the soft drink companies for my addiction to their products. Reckon all my favorite candy makers will let me buy their products after the suit? There goes my yard sales, flea markets, estate auctions, goodwill and thrift. Who will I sue for all the lamps I am addicted to? Forgot about my coffee and my restaurants I keep going back too. And my computer and internet addiction...All my magazines and newspapers.MY COUPONS. Ill never have to work again when I settle them all. My casino will be ok because I know what I'll spend when I go in. I appreciate the free room and good food. Even thogh I spend most of my time there sightseeing and visiting other casinos I know I'll receive a new invitation soon. Thanks for the great idea lady. Maybe our casinos go move overseas like everthing else. More jobs gone.

What is this world coming too? I cant control myself so im going to sue others for not doing it for me.... Sheesh... What happened to taking responsibility for your own actions? Maybe I should sue the mall because my wife has a shopping addiction but they wont stop advertising to her and offering her credit cards....
