UPDATE: Eli Fortner of The McKameys Undergoes Kidney Transplant
Eli's father Roger is giving his son a life saving gift, a kidney. Tonight both father and son are in stable condition, and recovering together in the pediatric intensive care unit.

KNOXVILLE (WVLT) The youngest member of the southern gospel group "The McKameys" underwent a kidney transplant today.
Eli Fortner, 13, has been living with kidney problems since he was a baby.
But today, Eli's father Roger is giving his son a life saving gift, a kidney.
Tonight both father and son are in stable condition, and recovering together in the pediatric intensive care unit.
