KNOXVILLE (WVLT) The youngest member of the southern gospel group "The McKameys" underwent a kidney transplant today.
Eli Fortner, 13, has been living with kidney problems since he was a baby.
But today, Eli's father Roger is giving his son a life saving gift, a kidney.
Tonight both father and son are in stable condition, and recovering together in the pediatric intensive care unit.
