KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- "It was crazy this weekend. It was definitely a busy weekend for the first game," says Bethany Frye, a manager for Alumni Hall in West Knoxville.

But the frantic scramble for Tennesse gear didn't stop after Saturday's big win. In fact, demand increased. "I'm always for the Vols but this really did it," says UT fan Karen Bradshaw.

Says Frye, "as soon as we opened our doors this morning people were waiting to come in and we got a huge rush."

Well at first they didn't want me to come inside with the camera because the store was so ransacked from all the business this weekend. But after a little convincing they let me come in and take a look.

This is what we found: dozens of empty hangers and new t-shirts folded and ready for sale.

"I think i'm going to get a hat and a t-shirt and who knows. I'm going to have a party," says Bradshaw.

"I don't even have words to describe. Literally you couldn't move in here. Everbody was happy, excited," says Frye.

Excitement all expect to spill over for UT's match up with Oregon this week, prompting this store to order even more apparel.
