BAGHDAD (AP) -- More bombings and more death today in Iraq.
In Baghdad, a bomb in a parked car exploded near a police patrol in a downtown shopping district. At least four people were killed, including two police officers. Another 15 people were wounded. Eyewitnesses say a man parked the car near some clothing stores, pretended to shop, then fled.
In northern Iraq, a bomb blew up near a playground in a predominantly Kurdish town. It was planted in a cart with some toys. A nine-year-old child was among two people killed. At least 16 other people were wounded.
A police official says the owner of the cart has been arrested.
