Excellent job by your officers Mr. Berrong. I'd like to believe the young man would get some help and become a contributor instead of a liability to society but statistically what are the odds. Putting him in jail and throwing away the key isn't the answer but how do we protect the good kids out there from these predators. I can't give enough credit to our boys in blue across the county, state and country who put their lives on the line daily for me so I can live without fear. And what compensation do they get for their efforts....not even close to anything respectable for wages or benefits. What exactly is the life of a police officer worth to us. Look at the dregs of society they encounter daily so we don't have to. I have the greatest respect for every officer out there. God bless and protect you all, you are constantly in my prayers.
