COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A couple has donated the development rights of more than 400 acres of their land along the Blackburn Fork River to the Tennessee Parks and Greenways Foundation.
Allen and Gretel Branton still own the land, but the donation places restrictions on real estate development there.
The river itself is about 20 miles long and runs through Jackson and Putnam counties.
It marks the first conservation easement on Blackburn Fork.
