KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- About 2,000 KUB customers lost power just after 2:00 Friday afternoon, but all but about150 to 200 have had their power restored in North and East Knoxville after a tree fell in the Spring Hill and Millertown Pike area.

A spokesman for the utility says there is a crew working to get the tree out of the way, and fix the line, but they've been able to re-route electricity to most of the affected customers.

Volunteer TV has had reports of several business without electricity in the area of Knoxville Center Mall.
